Dr. Matiasevich is the best dentist I’ve ever had.
It started with childhood; I had poor hygiene and also my enamel was thin so I’ve had dental problems since I was in my mid twenties. My teeth were falling out and I was afraid to go to a dentist, especially after I had serious dental work. The more that was wrong with my mouth the more I was afraid of going to a dentist so it just piled up like a snowball running down a hill.
Well obviously Dr Matiasevich is the best dentist I’ve ever had. I know him personally and liked him before I knew he was a dentist and when I came in and saw this technology and his bedside manner I was convinced that I was going to try this out.
He offered me a bridge at first, or anything I wanted. I was surprised when he said he could do everything, that he could replace every tooth with an implant. It’s just great, I didn’t think it was possible for me financially or in my mind, it’s just unbelievable how he’s changed my life.
Dr. Bob was great. He told me beforehand what was going to happen and all the steps and I just basically trusted him and the time passed, he closed down the office for a half a day just for me and did everything in five hours. I woke up from no teeth to teeth right away in five hours. It was just amazing.
My wife loves it obviously, she took me for me as husband and wife but after 40 years she sees a new me, she sees the confidence that it’s instilled in me and how I present myself; she just loves it. She had accepted it too but she just loves it, the new me, and so does my whole family.
I’m in the public a lot and I was always having to smile with my teeth not showing. Dr. Bob saw to that immediately. It’s changed my life in so many ways; I can eat the foods that I want that I haven’t eaten in 30 years and I can also present myself to the public in a good manner. It was very hard to be an umpire and a track coach without ever smiling without anyone seeing your teeth, it just wasn’t cutting it. I’m sure that everyone knew, and I was hoping they wouldn’t.
I didn’t think that dentistry would have such a big influence on my life for sure. To get a second chance when you’ve had it, I did it to myself a lot, just poor hygiene over the years and that was on me. I’m listening to Dr. Bob now.
